Take a journey and see all that Red Fox has to offer!
Red Fox Playing Cards are for everyone, including the card player, the cardist, the collector, and the magician.
THE CARD PLAYER – The fun, colourful design, combined with our own spin on the traditional card faces, will bring a new flair to all of your classic card games.
THE CARDIST – Unique colours and rotationally symmetric for the perfect card fan. The hand-drawn artwork will create a rainbow of colour as you manipulate the cards. USPCC brand cards with a modern cut and air cushion finish for beautiful fans, spreads, and pharos.
THE COLLECTOR – Unique in design and full of hidden secrets. This is a design worth having more than one of on the shelf.
THE MAGICIAN – The USPCC brand you are familiar with for all your sleight of hand. Secretly gaffed cards and access to our free magic tricks website. This deck is also one of the first of its kind with its special marked backs. The marked deck that doesn’t “go to the movies” that will fool laymen and magicians alike. Invisible marked backs that only you can see. Zoomed in, you can easily recognize the 4 of hearts marking(left). The picture on the right is a picture of the card through red filter glasses placed in front of my cell phone camera to demonstrate how the markings "pop" to easily learn the system.
DESIGN Red Fox Playing cards are hand-drawn with pencil crayons back and front, including every aspect of the tuck box. The colours were carefully chosen for their distraction as well as the ability to hide the many secrets that the deck holds. Playful and deceptive. Card faces were colour-matched for the theme, while staying close to the classic look of playing cards. We had some fun with the Jokers, Ace of Spades, and court cards! The tuck box continues with the theme by adding many features and hidden secrets, as well as creating a unique 9-box picture never before done.
THE PIP FACES The coloured pencil pips tie this hand-drawn deck together, all while staying unique, as well as recognizable. The Ace of Spades and Jokers hold their own secrets.
THE COURTS Colours that keep with the theme and SO MANY hidden secrets in the courts. Look for the hidden pieces of artwork that tie in from the tuck and card back. Also, dedicated cards with custom faces and so many shout-outs in the design itself. Don't forget the reveal card being held by the Queen of Spades.
QUALITY Traditional sized poker deck of playing cards printed with none other than the United States Playing Card Company. USPCC brand cards offer the highest quality and are familiar to all. These cards are as good as they get.
There are so many details when you start looking closely at this deck of cards. Lots of thought went into every aspect. We'll tell you most of them but we are keeping a few secrets for ourselves! Scroll through for details on individual cards.
SECRET MARKINGS This will be a marked deck! All of the faces of the cards also have a one-way design for more magic trick possibilities.

CARD BACK A rotationally symmetric card that includes an ambigram in the center (reads "red fox" even when turned upside down). The colours were specifically chosen to be aesthetically pleasing, while still functional as a marked deck of cards (see SECRET MARKINGS on the website). Hand-drawn whimsical, with a touch of steam punk, this design holds the artist's last name in the design. The two coffee mugs within that house are for the creators. Viewed through a red filter, you will easily learn the marking system while the fox closes his eyes in appreciation that you have learned the secret.
THE JOKERS The "Hello" Joker, or sleeping fox, features the bird from the card back. When viewed through a red filter, the sleeping fox will open one eye and peek at the bird, while you see the word "Hello" hidden within the mushroom. The "Good-bye" Joker is a sitting fox and says Good-bye to our bird, while leaving a clue of where it went. When viewed through a red filter, this fox will wink at you as you see the hidden "Good-bye" inside the mushroom.
ACE OF SPADES While matching the mushroom theme, this ace reads "RED FOX" on the bottom of the mushroom when viewed through a red filter.
KING OF SPADES This King sports yellow gears on the sleeve, a yellow and green ladder on his sleeve by the sword from the green "ten Hove" mushroom, the clock from the marked mushroom, the flower from beside the clock on the marked mushroom and the words "Hail to the Chief" which look better through a red filter. "Hail to the Chief" is a shout-out to our favourite game Mau. The time on the clock has a very special meaning for us.
KING OF HEARTS This king is a likeness of me :), with a shout out to my career -- I'm wearing Epaulettes, and have an airplane landing on my shoulder. The landing strip is the same pattern as green "ten Hove" mushroom. The words Kelly Cards (better seen through a red filter) were a business name I used for magic shows and busking. The window in the center is from the marked mushroom. The white sash is loaded with hinges from the from the green "ten Hove" mushroom, and the yellow locking gears tie into the gear theme from the back of the card.
KING OF CLUBS A shout-out to our YouTube star Chris Ramsay, with his deconstructed logo, you can see tear drops and a triangle within. The lightening bolts represent his recent Tesla purchase, and puzzle pieces are a shout-out to one of his favorite hobbies. Check out his magic, puzzles and vlog videos on YouTube - Chrisramsay
KING OF DIAMONDS The door within this king is from the tiny corner mushroom. The blue gears in the sleeve tie in with the gear theme. The Chimney stack is from the marked mushroom. The yellow/green/red dots are taken from the yellow tire swing mushroom, while the white dots close to the hand are from the green "ten Hove" mushroom. The red plaid is from the window shudders of the marked mushroom.
QUEEN OF SPADES This queen holds the 6 of Diamonds that can be used as a reveal for magic tricks. The flower she is also holding is from above the yellow tire swing mushroom. You can see white ants on red that can be found right above the fox on the card back. Around her neck are purple mushroom bumps taken from the green "ten Hove" mushroom. The mushroom window on her necklace is from the purple mushroom.
QUEEN OF HEARTS A likeness of my wife, the artist! The flower is from above the yellow tire swing mushroom. The windows on the sleeves are from the little pink mushroom under the bee, and the mushrooms on the crown follow our mushroom theme. The red pipes on her sleeves are from the yellow tire swing mushroom, while the blue gears and white gears keep with the gear theme. The green leaf in the center of the queen is from the grass by the "ten Hove" green mushroom.
QUEEN OF DIAMONDS The windows on the crown are from the marked mushroom. This queen is holding a leaf from the flower pot located by the purple mushroom on the card back. A waterwheel and mushroom stairs from the marked mushroom complete this card.
QUEEN OF CLUBS The Queen of Clubs is dedicated to our daughter -- with all things Reese. Complete with her name on the card (better viewed through the Red Fox reveal glasses) this card includes a tiara in her crown, butterfly on her shoulder, cupcake in her hand, her pet rat, "Cupcake", ballet slippers, music notes, ballerina shoes, a soccer ball, and a rainbow.
JACK OF SPADES This Jack is holding the tire swing chain from the yellow tire swing mushroom. The window on his chest is from the purple mushroom, and the "Jack of Spades" (better viewed through the Red Fox reveal glasses) are another shout-out to our favourite card game Mau.
JACK OF HEARTS The Jack of Hearts is holding a feather from our bird found between the blue mushroom and green "ten Hove" mushroom on the card back. The windows on his shoulder are from the green "ten Hove" mushroom, while the red wind-up key is from the marked mushroom. The mushrooms in the center keep with the mushroom theme. The dots on his neck are from the balcony of the blue mushroom. His crown is tweaked from the original to be more like gears. The orange with dots and lines alternating are the same design as the green "ten Hove" mushroom.
JACK OF CLUBS A shout-out to our son, Maverick! With his name on the card (seen best through the Red Fox reveal glasses), this card includes bicycle wheels on his head, a hot dog collar (with mustard!), a piano on the shoulder, his pet snake, "Coco," in the middle, his pet gold fish, "Fishtail," in the middle, his pet rat, "Alex," under his hand. A shout-out to Lego on his sash, and Minecraft blocks in the middle. The leaf on his head is from the pot by the purple mushroom.
JACK OF DIAMONDS The tire swing around this jack's neck is from the yellow tire swing mushroom. The ladder pieces in the middle of the jack are from the marked mushroom, while the yellow/orange with a green hatch is the tube from the yellow tire swing mushroom.
NINE OF HEARTS This is a shout-out to our friend, Evan the Card Guy! Go follow him on TikTok @thecard guy or Instagram/youtube @evanthecardguy. His favorite card is the 9 of Hearts, so we have his hand-drawn face peeking out from the center pip.

SPECIALLY MARKED Never done before specially marked cards. Designed to be used by everyone, including those with no magic experience, but still a delight for the seasoned magician. Only see the markings with a trained eye. So how do you do that, you ask? With a red filter to learn - once you learn you don't need the glasses!
Option #1. My personal favourite. Looking through a red filter at the back of a card, magically in the top left corner the numerical value and suit pop out at you. Practice this a little bit and soon you can read them with the naked eye. It may become obvious to you once you know how, but don’t worry, nobody else will catch on.
Use the provided red filter glasses that came with your deck.
Use your iPhone – Settings>General>Accessibility>Display accommodations>Color Filters. Make sure Color filters is on, and under color tint intensity is high and hue is red.
Use your Android – Do an App search for Red Filter in the Google Store.
Option #2. Don’t like to practice? Take those red filter glasses that came with your deck and make them a part of your magician style. Or find some red cellophane (or steal it from the Red Fox reveal glasses) and fix it to the inside of your sunglasses with a small piece of tape. Wearing your sunglasses, you can now read every card quite easily. Perfect for doing magic in the park on a sunny day.
Option #3. Purchase a pair of red sunglasses and make it a part of your style. Secretly read the cards in plain sight with no practice.

The Suits: All four suits are in the top left corner built into the roof of the large mushroom house. Look where the suit or number is on the red card, and then try to find the blue line on the card without the red filter applied. Use your provided red filter glasses on your own cards for practice. The Spade: Notice the blue spade outline around the outside of the mushroom roof.
The Hearts: Notice the blue heart outline in the center of the mushroom house.
The Clubs: Notice the blue club outline on the inside of the blue mushroom roof.
The Diamonds: Notice the blue diamond outline that starts inside the mushroom roof and extends to the outside of the top of the roof.
The Numbers: All the numbers are in the top left corner and are built into the mushroom house or blades of grass to the left of the mushroom house.
The Two: Notice the blue line on the right side of the door and utilizing the top stair.
The Three: Notice the blue markings on the ladder just to the right of the door on the mushroom house.
The Four: Notice the blue line on the bottom half of the door and right side of the stairs. Also the doorknob.
The Five: Notice the blue line utilizing the bottom hindge of the door and the bottom stair.
The Six: Notice the blue line utilizing the top hinge of the door and both stairs.
The Seven: Notice the blue lines in the window of the mushroom house.
The Eight: Notice the blue lines are completely within the stairs on the mushroom house.
The Nine: Notice the blue lines go completely around the door frame and utilize the right side of the stairs.
The Ten: Notice the blue "one" in the grass and the "zero" around the door frame.
